Die Farbe Rot / The Color Red

Ich habe meinen roten Micron bis jetzt fast ausschließlich für Step-Outs benutzt, um die Schritt-für-Schritt Anleitung eines Musters zu zeichnen. Da werden die neue Striche zur Verdeutlichung mit Rot gezeichnet. Einmal waren einige Kinder zu Besuch, als ich in meinem Sketchbook herumgespielt habe und sie wollten wissen, was ich da mache. Also blätterten wir zusammen durch das Heft. Am meisten haben sie sich für die Step-outs interessiert. „Das mag ich!“ haben sie plötzlich gerufen. Es hat ein Moment gedauert, aber irgendwann wurde mir klar, dass das, was ihnen gefiel, war dass die Muster auch mit Rot gezeichnet war! Das ist zwar eine Weile her aber neulich hatte ich die Idee, mit dem roten Micron zu tanglen. Mir gefällt das. Vor allem mag ich Rot mit dem Grau von der Bleistift.

Until recently, I only ever used my red Micron for step-outs. Once some neighborhood kids wer visiting while I was playing around in my sketchbook and they wanted to know what I was doing, so we paged through it together. I noticed they particularly liked the step-outs. They would stop and point and say, „I like that one!“ It took me awhile to realize that it was the addition of color that they particularly liked. Anyway, I recently decided to try using my red Micron for „real“ tangling, and I liked it a lot! I especially like the the red Looks next to the gray of the pencil.
