Ja, es stimmt. Wir haben bald Weihnachten und ich poste Kachel mit bemalten Blätter, Herbstbilder also. Naja, es hat keinen Zweck, es zu leugnen: ich bin öfters etwas langsam! Ich habe die Blätter mit Aquarellfarbe angemalt und auf die Kachel gedruckt – und das, als es noch Herbst war. Dann dauerte es, bis ich genug fertig getangelt habe, um eine Blogpost daraus zu machen. (Ihr könnte Euch jetzt schon auf meine weihnachtliche Post in Febuar freuen…nein, das ist ein Scherz. Ich hebe ihn für Weihnachten 2017 auf….;-) )
Yes, I know. It’s almost Christmas and I am posting tiles with painted leaves on them – in other words, fall designs. Well, they say the truth will out, and the truth is I often tend to run behind. I painted these leaves with watercolors and pressed them onto the tiles back when it was in fact still autumn. But it has taken me until now to finish enough to be worthy of a blog entry. (So you can look forward to my Christmas designs in February…no, just kidding. I’ll save them for Christmas 2017!)
Auf diesem Blatt habe ich den Druck der Blätter erstmal geprobt. Ich habe es anschließend getanglet. I practised printing the leaves on this page, which I later tangled :
Nachdem ich sicher war, dass das einigermassen klappt, habe ich einige Bijous, normale Kachel und Zendalas mit verschiednen Blätter bedrückt. After I felt I knew what I was doing (more or less), I printed the leaves on Bijous, normal tiles and Zendalas.
Die folgende Kachel habe ich nicht zu Ende getangelt. Sie fing super an – mit Squid und Paisley Boa. Doch als ich Metroz in der Ecke setzte wurde mir klar, dass ich 4 gleich grosse Elemente, eine in jeder Ecke gesetzt hat, und diese Komposition finde ich einfach langweilig. Mir ist bis jetzt nichts eingefallen, wie ich das verändern könnte. (Falls ihr eine Idee habt, lasst mich es wissen!) Aber ich habe beschlossen, trotzdem zu posten, als Lehrstück sozusagen. Denkt daran, die Grösse der Elemente zu variieren, das ist viel spannender!
I didn’t finish the next tile . It started off great, with Squid and Paisley Boa. But when I put Metroz in the last corner I realized that I now had four elements of the same-size, one in each corner. I find this composition totally boring and I haven’t figured out how to fix it (if you have any ideas, let me know!). I am posting it as a lesson unto you: vary the size of your elements – it’s so much more interesting!
